8/5/2023 0 Comments Siesta key beach mapOverall I would say a extremely tasty dinner treat for a modest price considering our location. My wife sampled the Gulf Shrimp basket fried, both plates came with generous helping of house cut fresh French fries and the cold slaw was also delicious. Then I had the Grilled Grouper Fillet for my entrée and it was super delicious and a generous portion. I tried the Coconut Shrimp and the fried Claims for my appetizer and they were both delicious and perfectly cooked. If you go at a peak time on a weekend like last time that we passed it up because we were looking at an hour minimum to get a table so definitely recommend a off time or day for the visit because it really is that popular. So we were able to get a table in about 5 minutes. We arrived ahead of the dinner rush around 5 pm. Sydney was out Waitress and was super polite and had good knowledge of the menu and available beverages. She had our drinks and appetizers out to us really fast. Absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. The food here is really good, really good quality. So.is all the hype about Captain Curt's Crab & Oyster Bar being the best true? Is it a experience that you cannot pass up when vacationing in Siesta Key? After my wife and I finally visited here on our 3rd vacation I would have to say yes □. Peter also provided a complimentary glass of their in house made Lemon Cello as a final dessert Liqour for the evening. The Tiramisu we had for dessert was the crowning jewl of the evening. Kudos! One spacific delicacy I would suggest the Poached Pear Salad, The Gnocchi, and the House Special Mamma Luci Veal, paired with thier House Special Chianti. Everything exceeded our imagination and we will be frequent customers now that we have sampled their amazing cuisine. Peter was the co-owner and personally inquired with each and every guest if their dining experience was up to expectations, I could unconditionally assure him that we lacked for nothing. They have a awesome selection of incredible house wines that are very delicious and I strongly suggest going with one that pairs well with you entree. If your not sure what you want just tell him what you prefer flavor wise and what wine flavors you like and he can find the perfect meal and wine to compliment it for you. Our waiter Mikey, was super experienced and knowledgeable about all facets of the menu, he could describe each and every dish they serve far better then the menus description. All the staff where incredible so happy, friendly and inviting. Wine Cask tops and fine bottle art we loved everything about this little Cafe. The ambience of this place is incredible with all the pine wood paneling and wine racks. This place is over the top amazing! Everything they served us was not only delicious beyond compare but a culinary work of art. This is a super awesome fine dining Italian Styled Cafe right off Ocean Blvd on the Island. Robin was our server and she was friendly, polite and efficient at her job, even navigating through the controlled chaos that was the inside of the establishment the whole time we where there. the Wheat Beer I had from their on tap selection really hit the spot too. I had the Billionaire Burger with the Truffle fries and both were hearty and delicious. My wife had the Lobster sushi □ roll and it was amazingly good. We where able to wait at the bar and drink till our table was ready. That being said, the Bartender makes a pretty good old fashioned and they have a few good craft beers on tap. We arrived around 6:30 pm but we have passed by at various times during our multiple stays and I can't say I've ever seen a time where they we're not slammed or there wasn't a wait to be seated. It took us around 30 to 40 minutes to get a table. This place was extremely loud and blostious. Good for families and adults of all ages. The plus of this beach the most beautiful sunsets and a great place if you like to pick up a shell or two as a souvenir. Look up Red Tide Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission for latest guidance. Red Tide (the algae bloom caused by chemical spills) is usually between April & November, smells like a toilet if wind is blowing toward the gulf, it’s ok. Remember to check the tides schedule for best time to go out. You can bring your own chair if you’re staying across the street and sit waters edge. Each of the beach front properties are flagged off for their guests. This beach is full of walkers mostly in the morning but all day long there are thousands of people walking. You’ll have to go to Siesta Beach to park. There is no parking available just to visit Crescent. To visit this beach you need to be staying or living in one Siesta condos, houses or hotels on this side if the island.
